• Sun Buds cannabis dispensary is under construction in Rising Sun (somdnews.com) — A new cannabis dispensary, Sun Buds, is being built in Rising Sun after its owner first scouted downtown North East but found too many nearby churches to meet state rules. The adults-only shop, supplied by Maryland growers, aims to open in August and hire a mix of full- and part-time staff. Its opening adds another option to the growing regional cannabis market around North East.
