3. 4-H Broiler Show results noted (wvnews.com) — Oakland served as the hub for this year’s 4-H/FFA Broiler Show, held at the University of Maryland Extension Garrett office and drawing 18 youth from clubs across the county. Participants raised donated chicks for eight weeks before judging, with Brenton Gnegy earning Grand Champion and Kendall Wolford taking Reserve Champion among strong junior, intermediate, and senior competitors.
