LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD — One of Maryland's largest family-owned furniture retailers went from being a tenant to an owner after securing a new warehouse deal for a Linthicum Heights site.

Gavigan's Furniture, which operates showrooms across Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Harford counties, bought the 177,536-square-foot warehouse for $17.75 million, according to a Thursday release.

The site is located at 700 Evelyn Ave. and was occupied by the retailer for over 10 years.
