MD Man Accused Of Attacking 2 TSA Officers At BWI Marshall Airport

A 32-year-old man from Charles County is being accused in an indictment of attacking two TSA officers during an April encounter.

ODENTON, MD — Cornelius Queen, a 32-year-old man from Charles County, is being accused of attacking two security officers at BWI Marshall Airport.

An indictment issued in connection to the incident states Queen "forcibly assaulted" two lead officers with the Transportation Security Administration on April 2 at a screening checkpoint.

Surveillance footage outlined in court documents appeared to also show Queen attacking two bystanders as well as one man's two children during the interaction.

Authorities said Queen "interfered with the federal officers’ ability to perform their security duties."

Queen has been charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding federal officers and interfering with security screening personnel at the airport. He is facing 18 years in federal prison.
