• Oxford discusses summer parking, short-term rentals (stardem.com) — Oxford’s commissioners have approved a $1.8 million utility fund and kept the property tax rate flat while tackling growing summer parking headaches and tightening short-term rental enforcement. Residents raised safety concerns on Pierce Street, the Oxford Inn’s parking plan was sent back for revisions, and officials are preparing ordinance changes that could shorten some penalties but broaden who’s held accountable for unlicensed rentals.
