Perry Hall's Angel Park is getting ready to reopen as officials offer a sneak peek at the newly renovated grounds.
PERRY HALL, MD — Days ahead of its official reopening, officials are giving a sneak peek of a beloved community park.
Video footage shared by Councilman David Marks shows just how much workers were able to improve the surface at Angel Park. See the video.
"Not only are we thankful for securing the money, but this surface here is what makes this a safe place to be," Michelle Streckfus, the construction manager for Angel Park, says in the video.

Streckfus said the new surface allows individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers to easily make their way around the playground.
Located at 9650 Honeygo Blvd., Angel Park closed to the public in September for renovation after officials determined the park reached its limit of quick fixes.
The installation of the new rubberized surface was made possible through the allocation of about $500,000 in funding and backing of both Marks and Baltimore County Executive Kathy Klausmeier.
Angel Park will officially reopen to the public on Nov. 1.
