Welcome to Potomac Patch

Hi, I'm Sarah Beth Hensley, editor and informant for all things Potomac.

Potomac Patch will be your go-to news website for everything about the community, the trends, the laws and the people. The site will provide information about schools, local businesses, fire and police departments, development projects and the people who help make this community great.

Also, the site is a way to hear about local events, share announcements and look for volunteer opportunities. Comment directly on our stories and let us know how we're doing. You can also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

I hope you enjoy the site! Feel free to let me know your thoughts and news tips at sarahbeth@patch.com.
