• Townsend moves up from deputy to county clerk for Kent (theeveningenterprise.com) — Rock Hall residents may recognize Lacey Townsend, who once served as the town’s assistant clerk/treasurer and has now been appointed Kent County Clerk. After roles in Parks and Recreation and as deputy clerk to the commissioners, she’ll oversee agendas, legislation, public notices, and more for county government, bringing her Rock Hall experience to a countywide role.
