
Learn how to draw this Spring. Acclaimed artist and art educator, Vian Borchert will be teaching a Drawing class at the Yellow Barn Studio located in Glen Echo Park, Glen Echo, MD.
The class starts on Friday April 17 till May 8 for 4 sessions. The class is on Friday mornings form 9:30AM till 12PM.

The drawing course is designed for both beginning and continuing students to explore drawing mediums like graphite pencils, charcoal, and pen & ink. Demos of line marks, shape, shading, texture, highlights, and shadow are presented. Course covers a variety of studies such as still life and landscape.
About Artist and Art Educator, Vian Borchert:
Borchert is a distinguished artist who has been teaching art classes in the DMV area for 2 decades. Recently, Borchert was named by MSN news as one of the “Top 10 Most Creative Artists”. A notable alumni from Corcoran College of Art & Design George Washington University, Borchert has exhibited in over 100 exhibitions nationally and internationally in museums and key galleries in major cities such as DC , MD, NYC , and in world marketplaces such as online platforms: Artsy, 1stDibs. Borchert was the juror for the current DMV High School 2026 Juried Art Show presented by the "Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio" on display at Gallery B in Bethesda, MD.
