Back Nine Golf To Open 2nd Franchise In Anne Arundel County

SEVERNA PARK, MD — The increasingly popular Back Nine Golf experience is growing its footprint in Maryland, with plans to open a new site later this year.

Anne Arundel County will serve as the home of the latest Back Nine location, which is expected to open at the Robinson Crossing shopping center in Severna Park.

The opening was secured after brothers and franchise owners Evan and Patrick Lipinski signed a lease for 2,900 square feet of space with the Continental Realty Corporation.

"Robinson Crossing emerged as the ideal shopping center due to the presence of young families, and golfers, and Evan and I were extremely familiar with the Severna Park area," Patrick Lipinski said in a statement.

"The center satisfied every requirement we were looking for including prime roadside visibility, nearby golf courses and above-average demographics."

Patrick, who also owns the Back Nine Towson site that opened earlier this year, said in a statement that the branding proved appealing since it allowed him to "get a round of 18 in under one hour."

"I really enjoyed the experience, believed the model is on the cusp of expansion, and pursued this as a business idea. Back Nine Golf especially appealed to me because only a few employees are needed to run the operation, which keeps expenses low."

Back Nine offers customers 24/7 indoor access, real-time feedback, training opportunities, and the option to play a wide variety of golfing courses.

The Severna Park location marks the second site to arrive in the county. Franchise owners Nirali and Nate DePasquale previously opened the first Back Nine in Crofton.

In addition to the Back Nine Severna Park location, the golfing franchise has plans to open multiple sites across Maryland in Baltimore City, as well as Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Charles counties.
