Week 4: Back to Broadway | July 6-10 Learn about famous musicals through song and dance and end the week with a short performance for our families!


Week 5: Around the World | July 13-17 Travel around the world and learn about the culture, food and language of a new country each day.


Week 6: Dancing through the Decades | July 20-24 ​Learn about the different decades through music and movement.


Week 7: Out of this World | July 27-31

2026 Independence Day Parade and Decorated Bike Contest: Severna Park

Each year, the Greater Severna Park and Arnold Chamber of Commerce, as part of its Independence Day festivities, holds a <a href="https://tinyurl.com/DecorartedBikeContestJuly42026" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Decorated Bike Contest</a> for our youngest residents. Children are encouraged to decorate their bikes, tricycles and wagons, and enter the contest. There is no fee to register. The children gather at the Chamber for games, fun, and selection of the winners. They then enter the parade. BIKE HELMETS ARE REQUIRED!PARADE ROUTE: The children enter the parade at Riggs Avenue as a group. Older children enter first and the youngest enter last. The WINNERS of the contest lead off! The bikes turn right onto B&amp;A Blvd. and proceed towards Cypress Creek Road. The children turn left into Sunrise Independent and Assisted Living and there will be a designated parking area for the children. Parents should accompany their children or be on hand at Sunrise to pick them up, as they complete the parade route.PRIZES: Prizes are announced following judging at the staging area. It's America's 250th birthday and we are ready to celebrate with our Annual Independence Day Parade.&nbsp;&nbsp;Registration and Sponsorships are now open.&nbsp;
Participation in the parade is free for members and non-profits. Please download and complete the Parade Application and Hold Harmless form and return to info@gspacc.com.
There is a $260 entry fee for non-members, but funds can be applied towards a membership in the Chamber. The entry fee can be paid online, and we will still need the application with specific details about your entry and contact information, and a signed Hold Harmless document.
There is a separate application for politicians and candidates, and the Hold Harmless document.

Starting at 6:30 p.m., the City of Annapolis will host its annual parade on July 4, 2026, in the downtown area. The parade will kick off on West Street, before making its way from Park Place to Church Circle.
"Marching bands, community groups, and vintage vehicles take over downtown," reads an announcement from the city.
The parade will be followed by a performance at 7:45 p.m. by the Naval Academy band. Fireman's Field Complex, 250 S. Nursery Ave., Purcellville, VA, 20132

The annual Purcellville Wine and Food Festival returns on Saturday, July 18, in Dillon’s Woods at the historic Fireman’s Field Complex (250 S. Nursery Avenue, Purcellville). The festival will take place from 2 to 8 p.m., inviting guests to gather with family and friends for an afternoon and evening of local wine, beer, food, live music, art, and more.
This year’s event will showcase 40 vendors, including wineries, breweries, food and snack vendors, and local exhibitors. Enjoy live music performances by the Rick Reaves Band, The Darby Brothers, and the Franklin Park Big Band. The “Arts in the Garden” section, hosted by the Purcellville Arts Council, will highlight local artists who will create works of art live on-site. Additional activities include face painting and a photo stand-in booth. 
Early bird ticket pricing is available through 5 p.m. on July 17: 
• Early bird admission (ages 17 and over): $5 (+ tax) 
• Early bird drink tickets (6 oz wine or 12 oz beer): $8.50 (+ tax) 
• Early bird drink ticket package: 4 tickets for $32 (+ tax) 
• Early bird bottle of wine purchase: $35 (+ tax), available from participating wineries (bottles must be consumed on-site)
A souvenir glass will be provided with the purchase of the first drink ticket. Save time and money by purchasing your tickets in advance. 
The popular VIP experience returns for $275 (+ tax) and includes admission for six, a reserved table for six, three bottles of local wine, six souvenir glasses, six drink tickets, early entry to the festival, special commemorative gifts, and a selection of sweets and savories for the table.
