MoCo Teen Fatally Hit After Crossing DC Interstate: Police
The Metropolitan Police Department identified the teen killed as 18-year-old Camari Primrose, of Silver Spring.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Camari Primrose, an 18-year-old from Silver Spring, was fatally hit by a car early Monday while in D.C.
A release issued by D.C. police said the incident occurred just before 3:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Interstate 295 in the District's southeast region.
Authorities said Primrose exited a car that was stopped on the interstate's northbound lanes and proceeded to run across the roadway and the guardrail. She was fatally hit by a Ford Escape when she entered the southbound lanes.

The driver of the Ford was not identified, but police say they remained on scene.
Police have not provided any details on what may have prompted Primrose to cross into the roadway or identified the owner of the car that she had exited.

"I don't know how to feel, I'm just lost for words," a friend of Primrose told Fox 5. "I just want justice for my friend."
