• Baltimore-Washington Parkway closed after fiery crash with multiple critical injuries (wjla.com) — A serious overnight crash on northbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway near Route 197 has closed the roadway at Powder Mill Road in the South Laurel area, with four people hospitalized and three critically injured. Investigators are still on scene, and drivers in and around South Laurel are urged to avoid the parkway and use alternate routes while authorities work to determine what happened.
