Brown’s 35-year career reflects extraordinary dedication to people, leadership, and service. She began as a case manager in 1989, expecting to stay only one year, but quickly found her calling in supporting people with dignity and compassion. Since stepping into her leadership role in 2015, she has built a team of holistic support managers known as the “Trailblazers,” inspiring them to be creative, courageous, and deeply person-centered.

“Nancy’s impact is lasting – people supported decades ago still remember her kindness and dedication,” Durkin continues. “Her leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to others make her profoundly deserving of this recognition.”
