• Peabody Preparatory moves its Towson-area location (baltimorefishbowl.com) — Peabody Preparatory has moved its Towson-area campus from Goucher College to First and St. Stephen's United Church of Christ at 6915 York Road, near Towson University. The new ADA-compliant site offers classrooms, a large dance studio, and a performance sanctuary, giving Towson-area families and nearby school communities easier access to music and dance instruction close to home.
   

• Baltimore County government offices to close for Labor Day holiday (nottinghammd.com) — If you live in Towson, expect all Baltimore County government offices, senior centers, libraries, and the Towson Loop Circulator to be closed on Labor Day, with trash and recycling pickups delayed one day all week. County parks, public beaches, and Loch Raven Fishing Center will stay open, while indoor rec centers only open for permitted activities, so double-check your plans and collection schedule online or by phone.
   

• An AI track is being offered for computer science, information systems majors (thetowerlight.com) — Students in Towson now have a new way to study cutting-edge technology, as Towson University's Fisher College of Science and Mathematics launches an artificial intelligence track for computer science and information systems majors this fall. Faculty and students say the program aims to build in-demand AI skills while also addressing concerns about overreliance and ethics, with a capstone project giving hands-on experience.
