Art Across Ages: Creativity Connects Generations in Towson
At this art exhibit, when the words "Kids these days!" are uttered, it's in amazement and approval.
Students from Loyola Blakefield High School presented their impressive works of art during an exhibit opening hosted Friday by their neighbor in Towson, Blakehurst Senior Living. The dedicated gallery in Blakehurst’s rotunda was filled with creative works including painting, mixed media, and drawing, as residents and students engaged in discussions about their artistic processes and experiences.
The partnership originated one year ago at Blakehurst, which has become a thriving haven for active and retired artists due to its spacious, light-filled art studio. Several Blakehurst residents have become successful artists since they were students themselves.
The exhibit runs through April 17, 2026 at The Rotunda at Blakehurst Senior Living, 105 West Joppa Rd, Towson, MD.
