1. 1 Person Dead After Multiple Shootings Reported Across Baltimore County (patch.com) — Baltimore County police are investigating four weekend shootings, including a deadly incident late Sunday morning on Mylander Lane in Towson where a man died after being taken to the hospital. Other victims in Randallstown and Gwynn Oak survived, and investigators are urging Towson and county residents to share any tips by phone or through the iWATCH program.

Nancy Hunt Crabbin 1930-2026 (fcfreepresspa.com subscription) — A longtime former Towson resident, Nancy Hunt Crabbin, has died at 95, leaving ties to Towson through her nursing career and Towson United Methodist Church. Two BCPS educators selected as Global Learning Fellows (nottinghammd.com) — Two Baltimore County Public Schools teachers based in the Towson-area system have been chosen as 2026–27 Global Learning Fellows, giving local students a direct link to new global curriculum ideas. Over the next year, they'll study equity, civic engagement, and international perspectives, then bring fresh cross-cultural lessons and resources back into Stoneleigh Elementary, Perry Hall High, and the wider BCPS community.
   

4. Jayla Caldwell earns CAA Rookie of the Week after two-goal performance (thetowerlight.com) — A Towson University freshman soccer player has been named Coastal Athletic Association Rookie of the Week after scoring two goals in a win over Bucknell, spotlighting the Tigers' growing talent. Her quick commitment to Towson and strong bond with teammates underscore the program's appeal and the supportive campus environment for student-athletes.
