• Clifford the Big Red Dog coming to Perry Hall this weekend (nottinghammd.com) — Towson families can now spend Sunday afternoons at the local Baltimore County Public Library branch, with Sunday hours restored from 1–5 p.m. and a Curious George visit with donut decorating set for Oct. 4. The countywide Sunday Fundays series also brings Clifford, Peter Rabbit, free treats, pizza vouchers for new cardholders, and a Disney on Ice ticket drawing to nearby branches throughout September and October.
   

• Maryland Gas Station Sells Winning $540,000 Lottery Ticket (mocoshow.com) — Someone who bought a Multi-Match ticket at the Towson Shell on York Road just hit a $540,000 jackpot, matching all six numbers in the Sept. 17 drawing. The winner, who has 182 days to claim the prize, can choose annual payments or a lump sum, while the station earns a $1,000 bonus and thousands of other Maryland players collect smaller prizes.
   

• Battle for Greater Baltimore: Morgan State ends 17-year losing streak with win over Towson (wmar2news.com) — A big college football rivalry game just played at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson saw Morgan State snap a 17-year losing streak against Towson with a 41-26 win. The matchup kept local fans buzzing as Towson fell to 0-4, while Morgan State improved to 3-1 and now heads into a bye week before visiting Villanova.
