Teen Bicyclist Dies 1 Month After Towson Crash: Police
A 16-year-old bicyclist has died from injuries he suffered on April 5, when he collided with a vehicle.
TOWSON, MD — A 16-year-old boy is dead after succumbing to injuries suffered in an early April crash, police said.
The Baltimore County Police Department identified the teenager as Alex Norenberg on Monday, confirming that he was pronounced dead on Thursday.
A release issued by authorities states the fatal crash took place April 5 around 5:30 p.m., when Norenberg was traveling eastbound on West Joppa Road.

At the time, Norenberg was trying to make a left turn onto Abell Ridge when he collided with a vehicle on the westbound lanes.
He was later hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Police have not yet stated whether there will be any charges filed in the case.
