Police ID Man Killed In Prince George's County Crash

A 40-year-old man from D.C. was identified as the driver killed in a Prince George's County crash.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Anthony Butler, of Washington, D.C., was identified as the 40-year-old man killed in a fatal crash that took place early Monday in Cheverly.

A release issued by the Prince George's County Police Department states the collision involved two cars and unfolded near the intersection of Kenilworth Avenue and Creston Street.

Officers had responded to the scene at about 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Butler was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver of the second vehicle and other passengers were hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
