• Montgomery County Expanding Traffic Signals and Pedestrian Beacons (mocoshow.com) — Drivers and pedestrians in Wheaton should know that a new traffic signal has been installed near Wheaton Woods Elementary School as part of a countywide safety push. Montgomery County is rolling out additional signals and pedestrian hybrid beacons at high-risk intersections, aiming to cut serious crashes and make it safer for students and neighbors to cross busy roads.
