Where to find the cheapest groceries in Mass.

Costco Wholesale has emerged as the cheapest retailer for groceries nationwide, besting some of the most popular low-cost alternatives, including Walmart, according to a new price-comparison survey published Feb. 20 by Consumer Reports.

There are seven Costco locations in the Bay State, including stores in Danvers, Dedham, Everett and Waltham.

Boston-based technology company to create 600 jobs

WHOOP, known for its wearable, screen-free fitness tracker and 24/7 health monitor, announced on Wednesday that it plans to add more than 600 new roles throughout the year. The majority of the new roles will be based at the company’s Boston headquarters in the heart of Kenmore Square.

Longtime Boston sports bar to close

Stats Bar & Grille, which opened at 77 Dorchester St in July 2010, said it is closing its doors on Mar. 29. However, the eatery promised that it plans to reopen. The business said it will be knocked down to make way for a “bigger and better version.”

New high-end meat, fish market debuts

Boston Provisions, a store offering high-quality meat and seafood, has officially opened its doors in Boston. The market, inside a new building at 1 Boston Wharf, is a combination of two longtime Massachusetts-based food purveyors: Wulf’s Fish and Savenor’s Butchery.
