Here's everything you need to know about the big storm including snow accumulation estimates, timing and when to expect the heaviest snow.
The major winter storm sweeping across more than half of the country, including Massachusetts, continues to be pretty consistent with its snow accumulation estimates.
On Sunday morning, snow estimates increased slightly on the high end, as now 12 to 20 inches of snow is possible in Massachusetts, according to the National Weather Service.
The winter storm warning remains in effect from 7 a.m. Sunday to 8 p.m. Monday.

"Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 12 and 20 inches," according to the National Weather Service. In the latest snow accumulation map released by the National Weather Service, which you can see below, it shows eastern and western parts of the state receiving 18 to 24 inches of snow, while central areas would receive 12 to 18 inches of snow.
WBZ is predicting 12 to 20 inches of snow statewide. Forecasters said the peak of the storm will be between 4 p.m. Sunday and 1 a.m. Monday across Massachusetts. Snowflakes could begin to fall between 10 a.m. and noon, but the heaviest snow is forecast in the afternoon and evening hours, WBZ reports. (Read more at WBZ).

Most schools in Massachusetts have announced closures for Monday, and warming centers have opened across the state.
The majority of flights out of Massachusetts were cancelled Sunday afternoon as well. There were more than 50 delays and 740 cancellations from Boston Logan International Airport as of 6 p.m. on Sunday, according to FlightAware.com, which tracks live flight delay and cancellation statistics.
Nine flights were also delayed out of Worcester Regional Airport.

Today: Snow, mainly after noon. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 31. Light and variable wind becoming northeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.
Tonight: Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 21. East wind 9 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 10 to 14 inches possible.

Monday: Snow. High near 30. North wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Monday Night: Snow likely, mainly before 1am. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 10. Wind chill values as low as -2. West wind 7 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
