MASSACHUSETTS — From a clothing retailer closing its Massachusetts facility to a new entertainment venue coming to Boston, it's been a busy week in Massachusetts business news.
Mass. clothing distributor to close and lay off more than 100 employees
A subsidiary of American Eagle Outfitters will close its fulfillment facility in Central Massachusetts and lay off 103 employees this spring. The company, formerly known as Quiet Logistics Inc, operates at 64 Jackson Rd. in Devens.

A unique new entertainment venue opens in Boston
Swingers Back Bay, a venue featuring "crazy" golf courses, cocktail bars, a retro arcade and food offerings, will open on Friday at 777 Boylston St.

The venue spans more than 23,000 square feet across two levels in the heart of the city. Inside, there are two crazy golf courses, multiple cocktail bars, Carnival, a Belle Époque-inspired retro arcade with classic games, and semi-private event spaces.
Shaw's is looking to open in Marlborough this spring, and construction is fully underway at the location, RK Centers, the operator of the shopping center on Boston Post Road West, wrote in a social media post on Tuesday.
The storefront on 193 Boston Post Rd. W was the former home of a Hannaford, which closed in September after the company was not given the opportunity to renew its lease at Boston Post Road West, a company spokesperson said.
State's only electric vehicle maker to add jobs
Indigo Technologies, the state’s only manufacturer of electric vehicles, headquartered in Woburn, has just received a $4 million loan that could lead to new jobs.
It was awarded the funding by MassDevelopment, a quasi-public finance agency, the Boston Business Journal reported. The company said it will use the loan to support operations and to make as many as 35 new hires over the next two years.
