• Major accessibility improvements at Acton's Theatre III (actonexchange.org) — Acton's Theatre III is now wheelchair accessible, with a new ramp, accessible restroom, and motorized lift making it far easier for residents with mobility challenges to enjoy shows on Church Street. Funded by town CPA money, state cultural grants, and private donors, the upgrades debut just in time for the fall season, including The Secret Garden performances running October 17–31, 2026.

• Rowing team, building momentum, earns medals in Lowell (actonexchange.org) — Rowers from the Bromfield Acton-Boxborough team brought home silver and bronze medals from the massive Textile River Regatta in Lowell, showcasing strong performances against 61 programs. Acton-Boxborough students led standout girls and boys varsity boats, while novice crews gained valuable early-season experience ahead of their next race at the Head of the Quinsigamond.

• Housing for All Acton: Eight Years of Housing Advocacy in Acton (actonexchange.org) — Acton residents now see tangible results from eight years of Housing for All Acton's advocacy, from McManus Manor and Tavernier Place to Rivage at Acton and expanded ADU rules. The group also helped shape Acton's MBTA Communities zoning and is backing a 2026 statewide housing ballot question, all aimed at keeping Acton more inclusive and affordable for seniors, workers, and families.
