• Acushnet Moves Fifth Grade From Ford To Elementary (fun107.com) — Acushnet families should prepare for fifth grade to move from Ford Middle School back to Acushnet Elementary starting in the 2026–27 school year, following a unanimous school committee vote. Officials say the shift will save money by needing fewer teachers and give preteens an extra year in an elementary-style, cohort-based environment. Early feedback from parents and students has been largely positive.
