Andover Begins $500K Tewksbury Street Sidewalk Project Through Complete Streets
The town says the Ballardvale project will add about 2,000 feet of sidewalk between Yardley Road and Oak Street.
ANDOVER, MA — Construction is underway on a new sidewalk along Tewksbury Street in Ballardvale, a project the town says is intended to improve pedestrian access and connectivity on a key local roadway.
The work will add about 2,000 feet of new sidewalk between Yardley Road and Oak Street.
The town said the sidewalk addition on Tewksbury Street was identified as a priority in multiple town planning documents, including Andover's Sidewalk Inventory and Pedestrian Master Plan and the Complete Streets Prioritization Plan.
