Named a member of The Diapason's 20 Under 30 in 2021 and first prize winner of in the 'solo instrumental work' category of the Setnor Outstanding Artists' Competition at Syracuse University, Augustine Sobend is a student at the Eastman School of Music in the studio of Nathan Laube. In 2024, he was awarded the James B. Cochran Award for his outstanding DMA recital.
In the eleventh concert of MMMH's 2026 Summer Series, he will play works by Widor, Reger, Bach, Whitlock, Elgar and Franck. Tickets are available at the door or online. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
