Route 133 Project Meeting Coming Up In Andover

Discussion of a proposal to add sidewalks and crosswalks while enhancing safety will be the focus of the meeting.

ANDOVER, MA — The Route 133 Corridor Public Enhancements Working Group will host a public meeting this week.

The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, at 6 p.m. at Memorial Hall in Andover.

The meeting is to discuss proposed reconstruction of Route 133 (Lowell Street) and gather feedback from residents and stakeholders.

The public enhancements are part of a more comprehensive plan and include a 1.25-mile stretch of the road from West Parish to Shawsheen Square.

The broader project includes upgrades at the intersections of Beacon Street and Shawsheen Road and Main Street (Route 28).
