The Town of Arlington, the Arlington250 Committee, presenting sponsor Leader Bank, and community partners will present a full weekend of public programs for Patriots’ Day Weekend, April 18–20, 2026, commemorating Arlington’s pivotal role in the events of April 19, 1775.

Formerly known as Menotomy, Arlington was the site of some of the fiercest fighting of the opening day of the American Revolution. This year’s Patriots’ Day Weekend marks the third year of the town’s multiyear initiative, “Arlington 250: The Untold Stories of Menotomy,” which highlights Arlington’s historic contributions while elevating stories of historically underrepresented communities.

The 2026 celebration aligns with statewide and national commemorations including Revolution 250 and America 250.
