Now, there is a new opportunity in Norton (franklinmatters.org) — Old Colony Habitat for Humanity, based in Attleboro, is seeking local businesses, contractors, and volunteers to help build an affordable three-bedroom home on Island Road in Norton. From sponsorships and donations to skilled labor, the group outlines many ways residents and companies can get involved, with CEO Kimberly Thomas available via the Attleboro PO Box and office contacts for anyone interested in partnering.
   

• Hall Headlines WXC First-Place Finish at Suffolk Short Course Classic - University of New Hampshire Athletics (unhwildcats.com) — A collegiate women's cross-country meet brought regional teams to Attleboro's Mark Coogan Championship Course at Highland Park, where UNH captured a season-opening win. The 3K Suffolk Short Course Classic saw the Wildcats place five runners in the top 12 and seven in the top 21, edging out Johnson & Wales and several New England colleges in a strong early-season showing.
