• XC Announces 2026 Schedule - University of New Hampshire Athletics (unhwildcats.com) — UNH's men's and women's cross country teams will open their 2026 season at the Suffolk Short Course Classic in Attleboro on September 5, bringing a collegiate meet to the city. The schedule also includes major regional championships across New England and New York later in the fall.
   

• Obituaries-August 30, 2026 (bocaratontribune.com) — Attleboro is mourning Michele Marie (Boucher) Brunelle, a lifelong resident, Bishop Feehan graduate, and accomplished pharmacist and artist who passed away August 25 at age 61. Remembered for her strong faith and stained-glass artistry, she was deeply involved with Transfiguration of the Lord Parish and worked in several area pharmacies before retiring in 2016.
