• Bedford Opens Public Review Period for Revised Community Choice Aggregation Plan (thebedfordcitizen.org) — Bedford is inviting residents to review and comment on a revised Community Choice Aggregation electricity plan now through Oct. 31, with documents available online, at Town Hall, and the Bedford Free Public Library. The update streamlines state approvals, strengthens annual reporting, and could add new supply options, so local feedback will help shape how the town's power-buying program operates going forward.
   

• MCC receives $2 million to expand life sciences career pathways (lowellsun.com) — Middlesex Community College's Bedford campus is getting a big boost, with over $2.1 million to expand its Pathmaker Robotics and Automation Program and add 169 training seats. This funding, part of a statewide life sciences initiative, will give Bedford-area students hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing and robotics, opening clearer pathways into well-paying biotech and medical device careers.
