Belmont Police Investigating Incident Involving Nude Man

BELMONT, MA — An incident involving a nude man who may have been engaging in a sexual act in public is under investigation, the Belmont Police Department announced.

The incident was reported just before midnight on Thursday, Aug. 27, in the Rock Meadow parking lot near the Community Gardens off Mill Street.

According to police, the incident may be related to other reports of suspicious behavior in the Rock Meadow area. The conservation area is located on 248 Mill St.

Patrol officers will be providing extra attention to the Rock Meadow area while the investigation continues. Police are asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who may have information related to the incident to contact Sgt. William Regan at 617-993-2559.

Community members who encounter similar activity are being asked to call 911 immediately. Police did not provide additional details about those incidents or a description of the man involved. The incident remains under investigation.
