Volker Goetze’s evocative trumpet lines dance gracefully with the soulful vocals and kora of his newest duo partner, the esteemed master of traditional Mande music – Ali Boulo Santo Cissoko. Up-and-coming Rio de Janeiro and Madrid based flamenco guitar maestro Roberto Monteiro is the newest band member, adding authentic Spanish flair with driving rhythms and subtle, imaginative colors. As the group’s founder and producer, Goetze brings a special wisdom to FlamenKora, acquired not only through decades of devotion to West African Mande music, but also through a deep mastery of jazz composition and arrangement and a recent deep dive into the melodic and rhythmic traditions of flamenco. In 2025 FlamenKora spent June in residence at the Manship Artists Residency, developing new compositions and deepening the project’s fusion of flamenco, kora traditions, and jazz.

This joyful 23‑year community tradition takes place Saturday, October 3 from 1 to 3 PM on the front steps of All Saints, directly across from Danvers Town Hall, where neighbors, families, and their animal companions gather each year to honor the gentle spirit of St. Francis and to celebrate the creatures who share our lives. The event is rain or shine.
The Blessing of the Animals is free and open to all, welcoming every faith and no faith.
Whether you bring pets, photographs, collars, urns, children clutching favorite stuffies, or simply yourselves, you are warmly invited to greet our new pastor and share in an afternoon of gratitude, blessing, and connection.
For everyone’s comfort and safety, please bring pets leashed or in a carrier.
For animals unable to join us — because of illness, distance, or because they now walk in our hearts — prayer papers will be available to honor them.

Dueling Pianos is back. Bring your friends and have a ball. Dueling Pianos is a massive "to the top of your lungs" sing along with all your friends! Two grand pianos are center-stage with a team of outrageously talented pianists that seem to know every song ever written.
Each show is different because it's all request. And you or your friends might get called up onstage for a bit of good humored fun and some unforgettable you-tube moments. These shows are request oriented, interactive sing-a-longs wherein two piano players sit across from each other and trade songs. The dueling piano audience is used for the dueling aspect of the show. Audience members are pitted one-side-against-the-other. Examples of rivalries include country vs. rock, men against women, etc.
Dueling piano shows often take unexpected turns, like involving wait staff members, changing song lyrics or roasting popular audience members. There aren't many boundaries. It's one big sing-along party, swaying to the music and bellowing-out familiar lyrics. You're not just being entertained by the piano players - you are part of the show!

Featuring two extraordinary singer-storytellers, live chamber music on period instruments, and original watercolor illustrations, this charming production celebrates Beverly's past and present with humor, heart, and imagination. Created as part of Beverly 400+, Shoebert's Unfinished Journey is a delightful experience for all ages.
The operetta has been developed in collaboration with the Beverly community, including the Beverly Council on Aging, Northshore Education Consortium, Ayers Elementary School, and children who helped create artwork at Arts Fest Beverly.
This program is funded in part by a grant from the Beverly Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by Mass Cultural Council, a state agency; by a grant from the Mass Cultural Council; support from Salem Five and Archer Insurance; and by the generosity of many individual donors.

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide hands-on care for a 68-year-old woman with advanced early-onset Alzheimer&rsquo;s. Nancy has a rare neurological form of dementia that has caused severe motor impairment and loss of verbal communication. She requires full support with all activities of daily living (ADLs). 
Open Shifts:
&middot;Wednesday: 4:00 PM &ndash; 7:00 PM
&middot;Friday: 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM
&middot;Saturday: 1:00 PM -6:00 PM 
(Hourly Pay: $23-$25/hr based on qualifications and experience)
Location: Beverly, MA
Please note: These hours and rates are specific to the family's care needs and budget, and unfortunately cannot be changed. We kindly ask that only those who are available for the listed shifts and comfortable with the outlined pay apply.
Key Responsibilities:
&middot;Safely operate a sit-to-stand and Hoyer lift (training provided)
&middot;Assist with toileting and incontinence care (every 2 hours)
&middot;Administer medications as directed
&middot;Feed meals and snacks (spoon-fed; food is ground)
&middot;Assist with hydration (cup must be held)
&middot;Perform light housekeeping and meal prep
&middot;Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
&middot;Communicate effectively and respectfully with other caregivers at shift changes
Qualifications:
&middot;Prior experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer&rsquo;s, dementia, or other serious neurological conditions is preferred
&middot;Ability to lift and move 50 lbs
&middot;Must be able to bend, kneel, and assist with physical care tasks
&middot;Dependable, compassionate, and proactive
&middot;Excellent communication and teamwork skills
&middot;Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
