Iron Tree Service To Sponsor YMCA OF The North Shore Basketball League

The YMCA of the North Shore said the sponsorship helps keep travel basketball accessible for local families.

BEVERLY, MA — For the second year in a row, Iron Tree Service is sponsoring the YMCA of the North Shore travel basketball league.

The Y's Iron Tree Travel Basketball League serves Ipswich, Beverly, Marblehead, Gloucester and Plaistow, New Hampshire. The YMCA of the North Shore said sponsors such as Iron Tree help support its effort to keep youth sports accessible and more affordable for local families.

The league runs in two sessions during the year. The fall session runs from September through November, and the spring session runs from April through June.

The YMCA said more than 200 players are participating this year.

The program includes teams for boys and girls and is designed to help players learn collaboration, teamwork and sportsmanship while competing in a travel format.

Garrett Coler, director of sports operations at the YMCA of the North Shore, said: "We are incredibly grateful for Iron Tree's continued support of our Travel Basketball leagues. Their partnership demonstrates the meaningful difference that local organizations can make by investing in youth and strengthening the community.
