Beverly Team Tops $10K Goal Ahead Of Ride & Stride For Food (patch.com) — Beverly Bootstraps has already surpassed its $10,000 fundraising goal ahead of the Sept. 27 Ride & Stride for Food, with all proceeds supporting its food pantry and food lockers for local neighbors. A 10-person Beverly team will ride, run, or walk in Dedham, and residents can still donate online to boost the impact for families facing food insecurity.

2. Northshore Phoenix High School Relocates to Cummings Center in Beverly (bostonrealestatetimes.com subscription) — Northshore Phoenix High School, the region's recovery-focused high school, has relocated from Sohier Road into a newly renovated 10,744-square-foot space at Beverly's Cummings Center for the 2026–27 year. The move keeps the program in Beverly while freeing the old site for other Northshore Education Consortium services, and places students within a larger campus of schools, nonprofits, and medical providers.

North Shore Chamber Seeks Minuteman Service Award Nominations Ahead Of Veterans Breakfast (patch.com) — From its Beverly base, the North Shore Chamber is inviting nominations for its Minuteman Service Award, honoring exceptional support for veterans and military communities. Beverly residents can nominate a person, business, or organization active in Massachusetts by Sept. 30, with the award presented at the Nov. 6 "Salute to Veterans" breakfast in Danvers.

Salem man arraigned in slaying of girlfriend, ordered held without bail (bostonglobe.com) — A Salem man accused of killing his girlfriend has been ordered held without bail, and police say he discarded her phone and keychain while driving through Beverly after the incident. The detailed police report describes the alleged killing, the suspect's mental health concerns, and his eventual capture in New Hampshire, with a probable cause hearing scheduled for October 16.
