2 Arrested After Drugs And Ammunition Found In Boston Raid
Two residences on the same street were reportedly housing various illegal possessions.
BOSTON, MA — Two men are facing multiple charges after Boston Police recovered cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana and ammunition during a joint narcotics investigation Tuesday, according to police.
Joshua Lewis, 26, and Brian Lender, 41, of Hyde Park, were arrested after officers assigned to the Drug Control Unit, DEA Task Force, and Youth Violence Strike Force executed three search warrants in the Georgetowne Drive area. The warrants targeted Lewis and residences at 40 and 226 Georgetowne Drive.
During the investigation, officers reportedly saw Lewis leave 40 Georgetowne Drive before stopping him near 192 Georgetowne Drive. Police recovered approximately 20.7 grams of crack cocaine and $1,123 in cash while executing the warrant.

Officers simultaneously executed search warrants at the two residences. At 226 Georgetowne Drive, police reportedly recovered a large plastic bag containing a white powder substance, digital scales, and drug packaging materials.
According to police, a search of 40 Georgetowne Drive reportedly yielded 11.75 ounces of marijuana, crack cocaine, two bags of fentanyl, digital scales and drug packaging materials. Officers also recovered two rifle rounds, two shotgun shells, an extended magazine capable of holding 31 rounds, and $160 in cash, according to police.

Lewis is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court on charges of trafficking a Class B substance and possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance.
Lender is expected to be arraigned in the same court on charges of unlawful possession of ammunition, unlawful possession of a high-capacity magazine, two counts of possession of a Class A substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance, and possession of a Class B substance.
