Arrest Made In Connection With Triple Stabbing In Boston
An apprehension has been made four days later while the victims continue to recover from their injuries.
BOSTON, MA — A man is facing multiple charges in connection with a stabbing that left three people injured earlier this week, according to the Boston Police Department.
Joshua Flores, 24, of Brighton, was arrested Thursday afternoon after officers and detectives responded at approximately 4:54 p.m. to the area of Leo M. Birmingham Parkway and Waverly Street for a report of a person swinging a large knife.
Officers located Flores in front of 444 Western Ave. Detectives ordered him to drop the knife, and he complied before being placed into handcuffs.

According to police, a large machete was recovered from the sidewalk. Officers also reportedly recovered a folding knife with reddish-brown stains on it from Flores' front pants pocket.
Flores was initially arrested on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon and disturbing the peace. After further investigation, detectives developed probable cause to additionally charge him in connection with a triple stabbing that occurred four days earlier in Brighton.

The stabbing took place at approximately 1:30 a.m. Sunday near Cambridge Street and Harvard Avenue. Officers responded to the area for a report of a person stabbed and found three adult men suffering from stab wounds.
Boston EMS transported all three victims to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released additional information about what led up to the stabbing or the relationship between Flores and the three victims.
Flores is additionally facing three counts of armed assault with intent to murder, three counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, and two counts of mayhem. He is expected to be arraigned in Brighton District Court.
