1928 Rowes Wharf Launches New To-Go Menu and Ice Cream Cart

This summer, 1928 Rowes Wharf is making it easier to enjoy its waterfront favorites with the launch of its new to-go experience and a custom-made 1928 ice cream cart serving sweet treats on the restaurant’s patio.
Designed with convenience and a little 1928 flair, every to-go order is presented in a reusable, insulated cooler bag designed to keep meals fresh and ready to enjoy. Guests can pick up their favorite dishes and take them to the Harborwalk, the Greenway, the office or home, making it easy to turn any spot into a dining destination.
The 1928 to-go menu is available for online ordering and pickup Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Curated by Executive Chef Chris Maxson, the menu features elevated takes on waterfront classics, including Blackened Cod Burrito, Lobster Roll, Crispy Chicken Katsu Wrap, Grilled Hanger Steak Wrap, 1928 Smash Burger, Grilled Salmon Caesar, Coastal Chopped Salad, Lobster Bisque and New England Clam Chowder.
“We love welcoming guests to 1928 for a leisurely lunch, but we also know that life can get hectic,” said Kristin Jenkins, owner of 1928 Restaurants. “Not every great meal needs a table, but it definitely needs good food. Our new to-go menu lets guests bring a little bit of 1928 wherever the day takes them, whether that’s along the waterfront, back to the office or home.”
Adding to the 1928 experience, their new ice cream cart is now open on the restaurant’s outdoor patio. The charming cart offers a rotating selection of Ice Cream flavors including, Chocolate, Vanilla, Pistachio, and Cookies & Cream, giving guests the perfect sweet treat to enjoy while strolling along the waterfront or exploring the neighborhood.
