The badge-access space, used only by researchers, was secured after a woman spotted the device, and detectives are working to determine whether it is actually a camera.

Man Indicted After Drug Shipment Linked To Overdose Death (patch.com) — A Rockland man is facing serious federal charges after prosecutors say he sold synthetic opioids online and mailed them nationwide, with one shipment allegedly tied to a Las Vegas woman's fatal overdose. He is set to appear in federal court in Boston, as investigators from multiple agencies trace packages linked to overdose probes in several states.
   

5. 3 Women Arrested As A Result Of Boston Shoplifting Investigation (patch.com) — Boston police say three young women from South Boston and Dorchester were arrested after officers recovered more than $2,200 in allegedly stolen merchandise from several Newbury Street retailers. The women are expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on various larceny, shoplifting, and conspiracy charges, and police report the items were returned to the affected Boston stores.
