Braintree Treats Seniors To Grab-and-Go Event

Braintree is showing its senior community some extra appreciation.

BRAINTREE, MA — The Weymouth-Braintree Elks are showing their appreciation for local seniors with a special grab-and-go event next month.

On Nov. 7, the organization will treat 200 seniors — 100 from Weymouth and 100 from Braintree — to a holiday-themed meal from noon to 2 p.m.

The menu will feature stuffed chicken breast served with potatoes, vegetables, gravy and a dinner roll.
