• Officer commended for action in stolen vehicle pursuit in East Bridgewater (newportdispatch.com) — Bridgewater residents should know that a vehicle stolen from Bridgewater State University was safely stopped in East Bridgewater early April 14 after local officers coordinated a multi-town pursuit. East Bridgewater Officer Collin Briggs was formally commended for using stop sticks to disable the car and then helping Bridgewater police apprehend two fleeing suspects without injuries to officers or the public.
