ā¢ Wales town treasurer faces embezzling, larceny charges (wwlp.com) ā Brimfield residents should know that the treasurer of the regional Eastern Hampden County Veteransā Service District, which serves Brimfield, has been charged with allegedly embezzling more than $50,000 from that agency. Heās also accused of taking about $138,000 from the town of Wales, has pleaded not guilty, and is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on September 9.
