Her daytime activity appears to include seeking warmth from the sun and easy access to food. At this time, her observed behavior has not indicated an immediate public safety concern.
We are asking the community to help humanely haze her when she is lingering near homes or people. Be big, loud and scary. Yell, clap, bang pots or metal bowls together or use an air horn. The goal is to reinforce that neighborhoods and people are not comfortable places for coyotes.

Please:
• Keep dogs leashed and close to you
• Keep cats indoors
• Remove accessible food sources
• Do not intentionally feed or approach her
If the coyote becomes aggressive, unusually unresponsive, disoriented or her behavior noticeably changes please contact the Dispatch line so Animal Control can respond and reassess.
Thank you for helping me monitor her and safely discourage her from becoming comfortable around people.
