4. Red Devil Roundup: Football Falls in The Battle of Winn Street, Soccer and Volleyball Extend Win Streaks (bcattv.org) — Burlington High athletes are in the thick of a busy fall, with boys soccer rolling to a 7–0 win over Arlington Catholic and volleyball sweeping three straight matches. Football, cross country, golf, swim, and field hockey all saw mixed results, and several Burlington teams have important home and away contests coming up this week against league rivals.
   

5. Mass. wants to get flounder back on the menu. They enlisted Boston chefs (axios.com) — Burlington diners can try special flounder dishes at Row 34 as part of a statewide "Flat is Back" campaign to revive demand for this now-abundant local fish. Massachusetts marine officials and top chefs are teaming up through September to get flounder back on menus, with participating restaurants in Burlington, Boston, Cambridge and beyond showcasing creative preparations.
