Prosecutors detailed Brown's long criminal history, recent mental health treatment, and reported drug relapse as they argue he remains dangerous, while both shooting victims have since been released from the hospital and are expected to recover.

Cambridge police fatally shoot Watertown man in Central Square (cambridgeday.com) — Cambridge police fatally shot a 64-year-old Watertown man Friday night in a Central Square parking lot after he allegedly pointed a loaded firearm at officers, prompting an inquest and community concern. City leaders are holding open office hours in Cambridge to answer residents' questions, while local groups and the police union offer sharply different reactions to the shooting and body-camera review process.
