Locals share stories of beds, golf clubs, toys, and even Limoges plates that found second lives here, while volunteers quietly divert leftover items to an Acton nonprofit. The shed has become a cornerstone of Carlisle culture, community connection, and everyday reuse.

• Former Sudbury schools chief collected $153K in total severance (milforddailynews.com) — Sudbury’s former superintendent Brad Crozier received $153,000 in severance after resigning this spring, under agreements that include mutual non-disparagement and no admission of wrongdoing. On July 1 he began work as interim superintendent of Carlisle Public Schools, while Sudbury appointed its own interim leader. The payout followed months of controversy and a symbolic no-confidence vote in the Sudbury School Committee.
