• Factory Fallout: Manufacturing layoffs from Bausch & Lomb, Jabil Inc., Southwire and more and more (plantservices.com) — Jabil Inc. plans to lay off 103 workers at its Clinton facility between August 1 and December 1, 2026, as it winds down operations there. The move is part of a broader wave of factory layoffs nationwide, but for Clinton residents it means a major local employer is shrinking and affected workers will soon be looking for new opportunities.
