• Dalton Counter Sues Berkshire Concrete (iberkshires.com) — Dalton officials have filed a countersuit against Berkshire Concrete, seeking court orders to restore a mined parcel on Lot 105-16 and enforce a dust mitigation plan that neighbors say is badly needed. The town is also pursuing unpaid daily zoning fines and Board of Health penalties, arguing the company’s actions violated local bylaws and harmed nearby residents’ health and comfort.
